Just launch with a good amount of resources and start hitting them with T3 units.ĮDIT 2: Overgrowth down to Fortress Spam also. Take 3 units with you on your assault, one you are controlling and two following with other units set to Assault.ĮDIT: Just finished Salt Maps by rushing to T3 Fortress, didn't even set up infrastructure then lose. Here are the units I've used so far with this strategy:Įxtraction Outpost T3 Dagger named Fortress(Path to the bottom left and come up from there, you out-range everything) This is best done leaving the assault maps for your last landing zones or until they block progression. The objective can be inferred from the name: survive. The player will have to defend the core with turrets, walls and units. The goal for the player is to keep their Core alive for a set number of waves in the campaign, or as long as possible in custom games. Note you can do this without losing on purpose but it'll take longer. Survival is a gamemode in Mindustry and one of the two sector modes found in the campaign. Once you launch back in your unit infrastructure should be in place and you can immediately start producing T3 units. You then force the enemies to path directly to your core while avoiding key infrastructure points and then lose on purpose. You drop in and build a T3 unit production line out of the way of the enemy assault. The only problem is that in early game, large amounts of power can be hard to come by. Arc turrets are cheap and good anti land for the start of the game, and their ammo is energy. Tesla Turrets can do more total DPS to a large group, but less to a single target, and thus could be better. To beat the attack maps easy there's an easy strategy that I've been using. Titans have AOE damage that might change this.
